About me

Since the age of 15 I take pictures.

I bought my first analog SLR camera with my very first salary I earned working in a supermarket during school holidays. I photographed almost everything and anything and discovered soon that I should concentrate on a specific style of photography. I tried to do so by only shooting black and white, and developped the picture rolls in my own darkroom.

With the appearance of digital photography I continued to look for my own style and followed many courses. Only the study course of Photography at Fotovakschool in Rotterdam helped me to focuse on architectural, street and reportage photography.

Therefore, on the present website I try to present an overview of these disciplines of photography.
