Who are we
Our company "Second Glance" is a second hand store that caters to students between the ages of 13 and 25.Our product is the resale of used clothing and accessories (second hand). We first collect second hand clothing from friends, family and customers, then wash it, and possibly repair it or make it into another garment, and then resell it at an affordable price
Our advantage is that there are few, if any, second hand stores in Luxembourg that are affordable and offer products targeted at a specific audience of young students
Our Mission
Our main goal is to bring awareness to the issue of fast fashion and to the water pollution caused by the textile industry as well as the moral issues surrounding the manufacturing of these products, noticably the working conditions of the employees
Giving clothes a second life by upcycling and recycling it would allow to reduce the environmental impact, considering that 20% of the industrial water pollution come the textrile industry.
How we work
We are actively collecting clothes and accessories from everyone who doesn't need themanymore in order to give them a second life. Those clothes are ether washed and sold immediately or upcycled and then sold on our upcoming pop-up stores. If you are willing to help us by offering us your clothes for a good purpose don't hesitate to contact us.
